We have some incredibly, talented artists, in a wide range of media.<br /><br />This forum is to help those artists that are interested, in explaining what they do, what their motivation or inspiration is and why they do what they do.<br /><br /><br />This is a behind the scenes look of The Artists Studio Tour.<br /><br /><br />It's also a forum for you the reader to ask questions you've always been curious about regarding art in general, or as specific as you like...hopefully, one or all of us will have varying points of reference, based on our own life experience.<br /><br /><br />Any tour of this nature starts with a vision.<br /><br /><br />Our vision started with a simple phone call from Silvia Thornton to myself in January of this year. It has grown in such a short period time due to the help and guidance of Billy Miller, who designed not only our website, but everything graphic that has to do with the tour. Anne Neal, who, with her contacts has taken the tour from 9 to 17 artisans, and of course the artists themselves that add an eclectic mix to this years tour.<br /><br />The deadline to participate in this years tour has past.
